Listen to Russell Tovey as he takes part in the brilliant New Museum digital initiative project 'Bedtime Stories'.

Russell reads a letter written by Gordon Stevenson to Cookie Mueller who was dying of complications related to AIDS in 1982.

"I have chosen to read a letter that’s very special to me, I first found this in the @nangoldinstudio monograph “I’ll be your mirror” in my early twenties and it moved me beyond anything I’d ever read before and has stayed with me since" says Russell.

As part of its series of new digital initiatives, the New Museum presents “Bedtime Stories,” a project initiated by the artist Maurizio Cattelan. Inviting friends and other artists and performers he admires to keep us company, Cattelan imagined “Bedtime Stories” as a way of staying together during these days of isolation.
