The new West End company of Hadestown has been revealed, with the cast beginning performances at the Lyric Theatre from 10 March.
Blending American songwriting traditions, Hadestown follows two pairs of lovers: Orpheus and Eurydice (Bethany Antonia) and Hades and Persephone. The musical has music, lyrics, and book by acclaimed Tony and Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell. Tony Award winner Rachel Chavkin directs.
