Hosted by Jimmy Carr and adapted from the Japanese show Documental, the series sees 10 comics locked in a house and tasked with making the other contestants laugh, while unable to do one very important thing themselves – laugh. Whoever survives the longest without cracking a smile (they get just one life before they're out) is then crowned winner at the end of the run.
