Actor & Stand-Up Comedian.
Schalk is one of the most exciting voices in South African comedy, bringing his unique contemporary Afrikaans perspective to the global comedy stage. He had a viral series of vlogs every day of lockdown with his catchphrase "feeling good, feeling positive". He can seen also be seen on his Netflix special Only Jokes Allowed.
Winner of the Savanna Newcomer Award at the Comics Choice Awards 2013, nominee of Breakthrough Act at the Comics Choice Awards 2014 and winner of the Intermediate Award at the Comics Choice Awards 2015.
As well as being a top stand-up performer he played the lead role in ‘Kanarie’ a major feature length film.
Born in Johannesburg.
He went to an Afrikaans-speaking pre-primary, primary, and high school.
