Born in Sidcup. Has a London accent.

Started performing stand-up at the age of 14 and won the BBC New Comedy Award at 17.

Won the Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for her show Kindness and Exuberance. She was the first woman to be nominated 3 times back to back for Best Show at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards.

Her BBC Radio 4 show Short Cuts has been airing for 10 years.

She published her book Because I Don't Know What You Mean and What You Don't in 2023.
